I found God for the first time when I was about five years old. I regularly went to Church with my parents until I started secondary school. Although I still had faith, I drifted away from church as I found little reward in attending. However, I began to study the Bible in depth and I have since been coming to Oasis weekly for the past couple of years. I have not looked back since.
I found Oasis to be a place where I could meet others who shared my faith in a relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere. I feel I have really grown in faith within the last year, and have matured into an adult through Christ.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and I have been cleansed through him. I have been encouraged in my faith by the church and through working with the youth group in which I really put my faith into practice. I have a much closer relationship with Jesus now than I have ever before.
